Blogger's Challenge #85

Click on picture to see enlargement

This week's challenge was a sketch which I have yet to figure out how to upload, sorry....

Check out the other Blogger Challenge Players to see more idea's on this sketch.

This is a poor scan of the card, as it was difficult to edit, with the contrast of black and pastel shades. I wanted the images on the black scallop circle to show up.

The technique used on this card is from Technique Junkies Feb/ March Newsletter..Click here...to check out samples of Pat's awesome tutorials. I gleaned the idea to chose the stamps Organic Outlines from some artwork Kim Bennington-Thompson did for the Technique Junkies newsletter. This particular technique is called "Background Burst".

Cardstock and ink are Stampin Up. Stamps I used are Organic Outlines and Fresh Cuts. Click Here to see specials and promotions for this month. On the side bar is a widget to my shopping cart.

For the Scallop Circle I used the Sizzix Big Shot "Bigz Scallop" die..I love Stampin Up's new Scallop Punch which I used for the trim on the bottom border.. It lined up perfectly.

Take care and thanks for stopping by

Wow Connie.....this card is amazing. I love how you did the white stamping differently on the card then the circle. Neat technique.
