Simply Perfect

Here is a Scrapbook layout of one of my grandsons when he was brand new to the world. I had a difficult time, as always, coming up with an idea for journaling; but, the picture says it all.."Simply Perfect".

I had a lot of fun editing in my new Adobe Lightroom program, if only I could remember how I added the three-D butterflys.

The Scrapbook Patterned Paper is by Sassafralass, the series called Branch Out. The chipboard letters are Thickers by American Crafts. I cut out the owl from the paper and masked it with Black Cardstock from Stampin Up. I found the owl was disappearing into the business of the paper. I love to use this technique when I want to place emphasis on a specific piece of the Patterned Paper.

Stop by the link I provided, this company has some yummy paper.

Thanks for Stopping by

And what a sweet baby.
I love the owl, looks as if he's watching over the baby.
