Blogger's Sketch Challenge and Basic Grey with the Pyrus Collection

Hello to fellow bloggers, challenge players and Shadesofstamping Readers.  Today I want to share with you, two Scrapbook layouts, showcasing members of my family.   Hopefully, my designs have some likeness to Lisa Somerville's sketch.

Pyrus Collection with Faux Designer Paper

This scrapbook page is of my oldest daughter with her first born...they look so cuddly snuggled together at the park feeding the geese...I created my own background paper by Distressing with ink pads, using various colors of Tim Holtz Distress inks. I wanted to merge some harmony between the Pyrus patterned paper and the photos...The leaf vine in the right corner is from the Sticker sheet, The two Birds are from the Pyrus Chipboard package and I love...love the the Pyrus 'Take Note' embellishements..

This layout is of my youngest daughter and her two children; an early morning pose, on the First Day of School. I used Delilah Chipboard Fonts for the word "Rock". All layers of patterned paper and the word 'FAMILY', are from the Pyrus Collection line. As well, I used the Chipboard Embellishments that go with this collection..What's not to love...when you are Falling in love with FALL using this collection line.
