Click on Photo to see a larger resolution
The Altered Alice challenge this month is to create something that is predominantly blue and yellow, the colors associated with Alice! Although it is not required that you use Wonderland in your project, those that do feature Wonderland will receive two chances at the drawing instead of one! Enter by Friday, April 22 at 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (GMT -4:00) and the winner will be posted sometime on Sunday, April 24.
The April sponsor is Artistic Outpost, makers of fabulous rubber art stamp sets including the Wonderland Collage set that will be featured by our design team. The Artistic Outpost design team will be playing along as well! One lucky winner will receive a $14 gift certificate to the Artistic Outpost store.

Take a tour of the Altered Alice Blog, you will be inspired by the characters of Alice and her friends. We love if you take a moment and leave some "P" praise for the Designers of Altered Alice.  This team has created some truly amazing cards using this color combination.

Here are two Samples showcasing the OZ COLLAGE Stamp Plate by Artistic Outpost:   My first design is a Scrapbook page featuring my adorable grandaughter.
I made Faux Designer Paper (12-08) with all of the OZ Collection on a background  with Glimmer Mist Watercolors (04-10) and Cuttlebug Highlights Techniques (10-08). All of these Techniques are from Technique Junkies Newsletter Subscription.

My second image is of the Scare Crow, who wants to ask the Wizard for a Brain, but is afraid to ask. I designed this card using various techniques from Technique Junkies Newsletter:  Burnt Edges (02-07), Bleach Swipes (12-09), Faux Metal (06-10), and my favorite Distress Technique using Tim Holtz Distress Inks...Tim Holtz Ideology Film Strip Ribbon was the perfect embellishment to add a nice touch to this card.

Blogger's Challenge - Red, Yellow and Green

I am a little late with Blogger's challenge...This week List Mom, Lisa Somerville challenged us to use the colors Red, Yellow and Green.
I designed a card using stamping methods:   Blocked Collage, Faux Metal, and Pulled Glimmers which are all techniques from Technique Junkies
I used Tim Holtz Distress inks and sticky notes  to create my blocked collage background.
The stamps are from Artisitic Outpost " Steam Punk ".
Scrapbooking Fanatics is an online store in Canada, Jayme just brought in some Stamp sets from Artistic Outpost.

Here is a card showcasing the Wonderland Collage stamp plate from Artistic Outpost Stamp Company.
I did a variance of techniques from Technique Junkies newsletter Bingo Blast for the background with the white embossing.
The images were cut out and mounted on a piece I did using Technicolor Dye Ink Method which is also a Technique Junkies - Technique.
The background behind the ornate frame is embossed Metal using Tim Holtz Texture Fades folder and applying Alcohol inks. After the metal is heat set, I apply a light sanding.
Other Embellishments:
Prima Flowers, Hiedi Swapp Glass Bird and Sizzix Big Die Cut Frame.
